R. A. NORSTER. The funeral took place Ann’s Hill cemetery Saturday of Mr. Robert Attwool Norster, of 95. Whitworth Road, who died in the W’ar Memorial Hospital on March 29, in his eightieth year. Mr. Norster was formerly foreman joiner in the employ Mr. Jno. Croad. builder, of High Street, a position he held for 38 years. He retired on the death of his wife six years ago. The service was conducted by the Rev. E. Farr Basham, minister of Stoke Road Wesleyan Church. The chief mourners were: Mr. and Mrs. T. Norster, Mr. and Mrs. H, Norster (sons and daughters-in-law). Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs. Mr. and Mrs. Steptoe, Mr. and Mrs. Patter, and Mrs. Prescott (sons-in-law and daughters), Messrs. T. and F. Norster (brothers). Mr. Sullivan (brother-in-law 1. Mr. Fowler. Mr. Childs and family, Mr. Jno. Croad. Mr. A. and Mr. V. G. (’road. Amongst those also present were many of his former colleagues, four of whom acted as bearers. The many floral tributes included tokens from the firm, his workmates and the Hampshire Friendly Society. The funeral arrangements were carried out Messrs. Jno.
