I have just had a look on the Goldminer’s Database for New Zealand, and there is a Francis Norster (Norster being unusual for NZ) with 2 claims in 1868/9. This could be a break through that I need. Currently, I have no knowledge of his whereabouts after the 1841 Census in England....
