Using the sites BLOG feature

One of the most powerful things that can be done with this website is to engage in BLOG conversations. The software will keep track of each initial entry and all of the subsequent responses to that initial posting.

This can be a wonderful source of conversation, dialog, and information-building, if we all will try to look at posts frequently and to respond when we have information, viewpoints, etc. that will further our understanding of this amazing group of Luxembourgers and their descendants.

As with all blogs, we all must follow certain protocols to make this work. I will only post a few general rules now. If any needs arise in the future, I will be more explicit. For now:

(1) Identify who you are-One of the great abuses of some on-line sites is to remain anonymous. That would not be appropriate for a site such as this one.

(2) Stay on topic- One of the things I hate about many other on-line blogs is that people stray from the goals of the blog. If you think that your post furthers the understanding we all would like to have of our Luxembourger ancestors and their descendants, especially in the Mt. Pleasant and St. Patrick's areas, then it is probably relevant

(3) Be respectful- We all descend from that brave and hearty group of individuals that picked up their lives in the old country and started anew in Kansas and Atchison County, and Mt. Pleasant and St. Patrick's. This creates a special bond among us, so keep this in mind when you post.

THANK YOU
